Man thrown from plane: A flight instructor says his student was thrown from an experimental aircraft at 2,500 feet above the ground. The canopy on the plane came off and he fell out. His body was found on Saturday.
A replica of the the plane he fell from. This is a story of a trainee who was thrown out of a plane when taking flying lessons from his instructor It was reported that while they were flying 2,500 feet above the ground, the canopy of the plane which is a Zodiac 601 flew open and since his seat belt wasn't worn he was thrown/flung out of the plane by the force of the wind. The instructor of the plane wasn't hurt as his seat belt was well engaged and regained control of the plane , sent it back , landed it safely and immediately reported to the authorities. The police has been searching for the body of the student ever since and they doubt if the individual might still be alive. It was reported that the student was with his and the instructors phone when he was thrown out of the plane. The authorities are hoping to track the phone via GPRS and hopefully find him. News coming from Tennessee reports that the body has been found. Bradley County ,interim fire chief Troy Spence says search crews located the deceased student pilot at about 11:45a.m Saturday .He declined to release the man's name. This just goes to show that ignorance or negligence is no excuse. Always wear your seat belt when recommended and remain strapped cos' its for your safety and everyone around you. |
