KERRY WASHINGTON'S HUSBAND NNAMDI RETIRES FROM FOOTBALL.


Nnamdi Asomugha Kerry's husband, announced his retirement from football during a conference at Oakland Raiders headquarters, telling the crowd;
“After 11 seasons in the NFL, I will be retiring today. I’ve been blessed and fortunate to have a successful NFL career. Another journey is starting for me right now.”
 The 32-year-old NFL cornerback was cut by the San Francisco 49ers in early November but signed a one-year deal with the team in April after being waived by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012.
He continued;
“Life happens. You start getting these feelings — it’s time,” he said. “I just felt that it was the right time.”
He and is wife are expecting their first baby together soon, and when asked about his wife's stand on his decision, he said;
  “I’ve had a lot of support from my family. Everybody’s just been great about it.”
 We wish them all the best now and in the hopeful future.
