COLORADO MAKES HISTORY AS SALES IN RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA BECOMES LEGAL.

Colorado becomes the first state to legally sell marijuana and cannabis for recreational purposes. Colorado and Washington got their approval to sell marijuana in 2012 but Colorado has been permitted sales today January 1st 2014 , while Washington will be allowed to officially sell later in the year.
As at 8:00am local time (Colorado time) the doors were open to people to buy marijuana legally in approved stores by their government and local states officials to anyone who is 21 and older.
Under the new state law, residents will be able to buy marijuana like alcohol. The cannabis purchase is limited to an ounce, which is substantial enough to cost about $200 or more. People from out of state can buy up to a quarter ounce.
